i have the tow harness when i bought the truck i bought a trailer brake but i cant find anywhere where it plugs into the factory fuse panel. any help on where it goes? 06 chevy silverado

 

not sure about your chevy, but my Dodge plugged in under the left side of the dash, might try looking there

 

Yours should be under the dash. There will be a little black box with a long looking nut on it. Remove the box I want to say it's the 2nd from the left plug socket where your plug will go. You can tell by how the prongs look in the socket. If you have the factory harness you will be good. If it's and aftermarket you will have to check and make sure the pins are correct. The harness should have some instructions with it. Atleast a wiring code.
