Default pulling a bobcat.

Hey guys, My father in-law doesnt think much of my truck. I know there are Chevy,Dodge and Ford fans. My father in-law is alway putting not just my truck but anything I do down, my point is no matter which make I owned it wouldn't be good enough.Well he recently asked me to pull his Bobcat up to Brusy Mountain where he is part of a hunting club. He told me to drop his bobcat off at the bottom and he would drive it up. He said his jeep honcho wouldnt it just bogs down, so there is no way my truck can.I honestly can't argue with the man , because I do not know what the pulling limit is for my truck. So is he right or is he just bashing me again? The road is gravel.

dont over guess that jeep honcho cuz they were some climbing beasts....but with that aside your truck out weighs it twice and has a little lower gearing and a hell of alot more low end torque than he does so im with tireman...put in 4 and give er hell till your at the top and say "heres your kitty, bob"

LOL, I agree. He is one of those you dont see often but when you do he has his way of making you feel like your on a lie detector machine. Anything I would say is he would turn it back around and make me feel like I dont know anything about anything. For example; If I where to say diesels where built to pull heavy loads. He would say how do you know? What have you pulled and then he would through in some facts from his past that he cant proof,But knows I wouldnt say anything about because I am not well versed in the capabilities of truck engines. All in al he doesnt bother me I for the most part just ignor his comments, but he wants me to pull that bobcat and I knew I could find out from you guys if I had a chance in hell of proving him wrong for once. Thanks for all the responses
