I always check my mirror to see if I smoke at all under acceleration and today I noticed that I couldn't really see the while line on the edge of the road which is not normal for my truck. I don't usually accelerate hard so I only get enough black smoke for it to be noticeable but today under the normal acceleration(at least it seemed normal), I noticed about twice as much black smoke. I haven't turned my IP up any more than it already is or messed with anything else for that matter. The truck is still running fine, didn't notice anything that wasn't normal about anything else, just the smoke. When I tried to get that amount of smoke again, I pretty much had to hit WOT. I usually run about 1/2 throttle I'd say at highway speeds. Any ideas as to what this might be?

 

alchol does affect ability to drive . not sure what it could be bud!!!!

could of built up more soot than normal last time it was run and you just blew it out.

 

I was sober earlier but later could be a different story, after all, it is saturday night

That might explain the couple big puffs it blew out. I don't know but it was actually kind of a nice tailgater deterrent.
