Default Pyro install

I'm about to add a Pyro gauge to my 2006 6.0 and was wondering if anyone had some good pics of the best place to put the temp probe. I know about the dangers of the metal shavings and thigns of that nature.... just wondering where everyone seems to be tapping their exhaust at. Thanks in advance for any ideas/pics.....

I've heard of how to do it a million different ways with using grease on the bits and this and that. Personally I just drilled it with no grease (I was told the grease would hold the bits, but if grease flung off inside you couldn't get that out...) and then just put a vacuum on the hole to suck the shavings out. I didn't have any issues.

Drill tap and done.

Dont worry about the shavings, most will fall in your eyes, what dont will blow right past the exhaust wheel without issue.

Bingo. I used a small extension magnet, but only because I had it in the door of my truck
