The extreme race isn't much of a difference from extreme street. i would just keep the extreme street and be happy

mudstrokin is right. The race just has a torque converter lock up in 2-5 gears. It's the same power level as the x-street tune.

there is a guy on psn that has 70k on extreme street, no studs, no problems

but depending on your pocket book it might not be worth the risk

I've puked on nearly every hot tune I've ever had. I'm on my 3rd set of headgaskets and Im' at 72k. My third set is now starting to puke. This is the longest a set of headgaskets has lasted me though. Using looney tune from Vivian. One of those mentioned headgaksets that failed were with ARP's installed too. NEED to get those heads decked flat!!!

Re-read my post. I had ARP headstuds in on the last set of headgakset. They still blew. It was a Ford dealership installed job though, so who knows about the flatness of the heads. However when they re-did it again, they took my studs out (worried about getting in trouble with Ford), and put the same heads back on with stock TTY bolts and this was the longest they've lasted. Might just be this tune isn't as aggressive. I am pushing a LITTLE bit of coolant now, not a lot so it may even be the EGR cooler. I've got an RCD kit sitting on the shelf to rid of all the EGR crap and just haven't gotten around to doing it....
