Has anyone ever tried to rotate a trans case 180* on a nv4500? Will it bolt back on? Reason for asking is my dad is building a little toy. The chassie has a passenger side front diff pumpkin, instead of normal dodge driver side diff pumpkin. If somebody has a trans and transfer case out could you try it for me..

Thought about that but they are spendy.. harder to find than a 241. So it seems??????????

 

no it wont work...but i thought i saw online somewhere that they make 241 with passenger drops...still have to buy a new unit either way

also i have some of those borg warner transfer cases that ford used alot.

or you could use a 2wd trans an bolt up a ford np205 divorced transfer.
