I put a ad on craig list and asked for a good used manual transmission and all the parts i need to convert my automatic 98' to manual. A guy called and had a wreaked totaled 2000 dodge 6speed with a high proformance cluch, and he said it has close to 170,000, and i think he said he had the transmisson gone through 2000miles ago. He asked me to make him a offer but i have no idea what to tell him and i don't know for sure what parts i all need. Could you guys give me a good idea what to ask him and could you guys name off all the parts i'm going to need.

i would offer him 2500 if the tranny was rebuilt, but i would try see some reciets being that it was rebuilt, but make sure you get every thing you need

 

well there is a guy around here that will sell everything to change it over from auto to 6 speed for 2500 but you need a drive shaft made and a clutch. if you can get everything from that truck to change it over that would be a good price. depends also if the guy needs money

 

Lots of times they will give you a deal on the whole truck so they don't have to pull parts, you might be able to come out of it cheap if you parts out the rest of the truck
