no wastegate on a HX35
When i bought my truck the guy had removed the wastegate. I know about over spooling and i just keep an eye on the gauges. Is this bad not to have a wastegate on a stock turbo? Getting a new turbo soon but should i be concerned about this? thanks
i do not know the housing size just that it is a hx35. it just needs to last till nov when i get back to the states then its time for a 64mm turbo. my dad is using it now so i will let him know about the boost
why only 35 my stock ran 40 and its the same one i have now with a 60mm compressor and 40 housing
i have my wastegate wired shut no actuator at all i was just curious why dave said not to exceed 35 psi on a stock---AutoMerged DoublePost---
o and any stock 12v has a 12cm housing unless tampered with
