Default Marvel Mystery Oil

Man, did it save me $650. I ran a 3 tank mix of it on my way out East and it took care of an injector issue. So needless to say, I'm #$%=canning Stanadyne, and all the other snakeoil companies out there (except for Amsoil and their Cetane booster).

years ago before the discovery of 2 stroke oil I added some marval mystery to the tank of a 12 valver while it was idleing and within one min ute the thing got way quieter, needless to say I was impressed and used it as an additive for years...................I cant remember the lubricity values of it though

They use MMO religiously in the under ground coal mines around me. The trucks fall apart around the engine.

I have used MMO for years and have nothing but good results from my gas to Diesel engines. I run it in my gas engines oil and fuel and in my diesel i use it in my fuel. after various tear downs on many different engine types and miles... I find very little sludge/buildup and a very clean fuel system one end to the other.

2-stroke is better for the fuel if you're interested in lubricity.

I was using it in my 1999 F-250 7.3, I would add it to my oil & diesel B U T I won't add it to my 6.4 FORD doesn't want you to use any non-FORD additive

I run the recommended 4 ounces per 10 gal. on deisel.... as per oil; they say to repalce one quart of your oil with one quart of MMO.... Generally i just fill up my oil filter with MMO with about 1/2 a quart when i do a change..... diesel or gas engine wise, and have had good results with everything.... it is the only additive i use on every thing.

yea... i dont know whether the Ford only additive deal is just to make them more money or out of them being overly carefull with limitations to save them money on the warrenty aspect of things down the line.....either way it sucks how much they like to void warrenties on us.

I have been using a 50-50 mix of MMO+2-stroke.And in winter I add some anti-gel.This seems to work so far.
