Jmac.... which 2-stroke oil do you use and how much do you add at a time?

 

most guys I know throw a little bottle of the cheap wal-mart brand super tech 2 stroke oil

 

I am a big user of Marvel Mystery Oil. Never had any issues.

 

i use marvel mystry oil that stuff really works

 

if someone can find the lubricity test results posted a couple years ago you will see that using mmo the lubricity of the fuel is lower with the mmo than with NO additive. the mmo actualy TAKES AWAY lubrication.

mmo is a good cleaner. if you use it for cleaning purposes make sure you add 1 0z per gal of 2 stroke.

not wise to add to the engine except maybe a couple miles BEFORE an oil change. breaks loose all the crud. i'd only use that on an old sludged up gasser engine right before an oil change.

this product is supposed to contain naptha and oil of pepermint.

 

interesting results. as i said i'd dump in mmo ONLY if used with some 2 stroke oil fro lube of the fuel system.

I don't add ant additives to my 2008 6.4 FORD manuel say no additives

 

MMO makes a good UCL for gassers. That's all I would use it for.
