ok a friend just called me. i guess somthing came up and hit the alternator and broke the pulley. which then jammed .
if anyone could help \please give him a call.
he`s a nice young marine headed back to camp pendalton from home.
needs to be back on base tonight.

yeah but nobody in the area! and im 300+ plus miles right now. he did get a tow. but i dont know where for the night. he calling me when he gets too somehere where he can look at it a bit more.

 

I checked the support list - no one listed is in Vegas

Im sure we have some members there tho.

 

A little late for this crisis but I just about the fact that we should have made a post about this in the regional area. A lesson learned for me.

 

I think more people may look at the Diesels in Distress forum before the regionals...

 

he got it towed to a local parts store and they happend to have the parts to get him on the road. Last i knew he was heading down the road in the ole Cummins Conversion.

 

i just called him a while ago and he was on his way. no back to my napping. looong weekend, too long!
