Default diesel in the ER

hey there folks. im bout to break down the ol durmax and replace some injectors and glow plugs. do you think it would be worth my time and money to go ahead and replace all 8 of each since i will already have her busted apart

I can get a super kit from Pensacola fuel Injection for 1500 plus and it includes all 8 injectors all 8 glow plugs and all the rings and washers and the valve cover gaskets

I wouldn't do it I have hear from tons of people that Pensacola fuel injectors are crap...
Ill try and look up where I got mine for my old truck

don't get Pensacola injectors, i made the mistake of buying 8 from them, i ended up replacing them 4 times in one summer

2500heavy duty were u runnin those injectors stock or chipped?

you could say chipped, but that don't change the fact that the first set of injectors i got from them went bad in 5 days after they were instaled

ive got the bully dog power pup in mine. i dont think it had anything to do with it tho bc the injectors in that model truck r just crap anyways. ur pics u put up on changing the injectors are great they answered a couple questions i had about it. if u know of any other place to get injectors and glowplugs at a good price let me know. how do u feel about going to a you-pull-it scrap yard and getting the injectors out of a wrecked truck?

thats where i got my current motor from in the dmax now

even if you do that you will be there for a little while pulling them injectors out. my price on them is like 2k from the dealer and i get a discount. there aint really many places where you can get them for a low price and know they are good

whats a ballpark price on a motor from the salvage yard?
