leave it on all the time, minus the weights obviously, but just think now if you rear end someone you'll have even more fun destroying their car and then the grille guard/bumper will take out the rest of the stuff, or maybe they pulled out at the wrong time or something, oh and it'd make for a good dear slayer, don't know if they have those where you're at, but where i'm at i want something like that coming out from bumper personally

On the plus side of leaving it on, looks kinda cool for those who will even know what it is. On the down side, T-Bone somebody and it's a death sentence. These trucks are dangerous enough as is.

they are just under 50 x 10 weights= roughly 500lbs including the bracket

very nice, I have yet to make mine. I have a few ideas but mine needs to support 14 100 lbs weights

1400lbs would put me at ov er 8500lbs

but will have 100 lb weights eventualy. i should be round 7700lbs when i weigh in with the 50's though

Leave it on ed,minus the weight.You could use it to pull a chevy,ford and a dodge 1500 out of the mud to.
