Default tips on how to smoke out lights?

lookin for tips on how to smoke out my brake lights and cab lights, could i just buy the candy paint and wet sand the lights and spray them?

Very steady hand with VERY even coats and dont rush it. The more coats you put on the darker it will be, but too many and you will be "blacked out" for real

hahah alright im assuming there is special paint to do this thats some what transparent? or gives the smoke color idk

Yes, there is a special paint to do this. VHT Nightshade I believe its called.

What if you sprayed black paint mixed with a bunch of paint thinner?

then the paint thinner drys and your left with black paint

Really thin coats but you may wanna buy a tailgate lightbar. Cops tried to give me a ticket for painted taillights but couldnt because of my lightbar
