tps wire colors

what are the three wires coming off the throttle position sensor?
+, ground, sensor?

The orange wire should carry a signal TO the pcm and when unplugged the end going to the pcm should not have voltage on it. The purple wire should have 5.0 volts coming from pcm. Black is ground
