Duramax upgrades

Have taken motor out of truck to replace head gasket.Is there any mods that are fairly inexpensive that could be done at this point.I would like to get that great diesel sound.Thanks

If the motor is out and your replaceing the HG then do studs and some injectors.

throw some gravel in there or get a cummins, arent duramax's supposed to be quiet? personally i like it quiet up front and ear splittin' loud out back

Had dealer replace injectors 1 1/2 years ago.I assume you are talking about A R P head studs.Which ones to you suggest and how much should I expect to spend.
