Default Emissions Recall J35

Howdy all, I just recieved a recall notice pretaining to my 08 Ram 2500, 4X4 double cab long bed. It is for re-programing the ECM, to help with the caution panel codes, dealing with egr, sooted up turbo, and the DPF. My question is: has anyone had theirs done yet? will it cause a loss of power? and will it alter fuel economy?
My Ram is one that has never had any codes or other problems that seem to bother a lot of other Rams . I am just wondering if I want them messing with anything as it has been trouble free with 30,00+ miles and I am happy with how it pulls my travel trailer.
I would like to hear other opinions regarding this.
Thanks in advance.

If I were in your shoes, I'd pass on taking my truck to the dealer. At the risk of sounding like a parrot, since it's already been said.. "If it ain't broke.....
