too much is massive clouds of black smoke. The starwheel adjusts the springs press on the afc foot. If you loosen it up there will be tons of preboost fuel, tighten it up and there will be less preboost fuel.

To adjust the starwheel you need an allen wrench and a screwdriver.

pretty much depends on how much smoke you want, if the smoke is excessive when you floor it, back off on the star wheel

So in order to decrease lots of smoke when it's initially floored, which direction do you turn the star wheel?

From the top toward the driver side to lessen fuel and smoke, correct?

I have to tune mine some more and lessen the preboost fuel, but the smoke screw and moving the whole afc back should fix mine. The rate of fuel once the turbo spools is fine.

yes if it clears up as soon as the turbo lights you might want to just back off on the smoke screw and pull the housing back, b4 my afc was gutted i had the smoke screw backed way off and the afc housing half way and it ran pretty good,
