Default Thinking about a 5th Wheel...

To live in on the road, I am tired of pissing money away at the hotels when I could be buying something.

I get 75 bucks a day to live on out here, that is for hotel and food, well ****, three days of that is a small trailer payment, and a weeks worth is a damn nice trailer.

I dont want to spend 30k on something, but in the area of 15k max... Just found one here in Prescott that is nice for 7700, and I could offer less I am sure, then I found this one back home in Bend...

Clean & Pretty Jayco 5th Wheel

more my style too...

Anyone living on the road in these things? Whats a RV space go for a month??? Nice ones?

Ya, I am just starting to look now. Only issue with that one, I have to drive all the way back to bend to get it... 18 fricking hours... Then 18 hours back!

Going to look more around here (AZ) as well...

buy a newer one, 2000 and up, some of the older ones are like towing a house down the road,you need every mod you can put on truck to haul them,I have a 95 33 1/2 ft w/14ft slideout and it is heavy compared to a newer model and personally my next one will be a toy haulerit will be big enough to put my 68 bug in it,
just looked at the ad nice trailer ,mine weighs 12,500 lbs

You might take a look here. RV Classified Ads - Used RV, RV for Sale, Diesel Pusher Motorhomes, Gas Motorhomes, Trailers, Toters, Park Models You'll see a link on the left hand side for 5th wheels. Once that page loads, you can click on the little triangles to filter your search by year, make, model, price etc.
As for RV lots per month, you should be able to find a lot in a nice park for around 125-150/month. Mine is 1250/yr on Lake Fork here in east Texas.

Prices in the 15K range start on this page...
