ok so my dad had a flat on his 2010 f-350 the other day and of course the low pressure light was on but even after he got the flat fixed and the pressure was back up the light remained on and is still on today so i kinda need help on gettin it to turn off since i know nuthin about fords... also he is gonna throw aftermarket rims and tires on his truck and he dont feel like puttin sensors in the new rims so is there any way to disable this feature completely?? any help would be great guys

 

he still will have to run tps sensors unless he likes the little light on the dash to stay on. as far as the light now make sure all tires are inflated to the tag on the door drive it should go off if the tires were rotated he will have to go to ford and they will reset the sensors with this neat little tool takes bout five minutes.

 

I have a new ford too. I ran the stock tires for about a week before I made it to the tire shop for the lift and new rubber. They didn't even recommend putting the sensors back on, due to the fact that the air pressure must be 60+ psi for the warning light to shut off, and when running most oversized tires you shouldn't run that kind of pressure (the end result would be pre-mature wear on the center of the tires). The warning light is something I've just learned to deal with.

 

you can change the psi that the computer reads as the minimum. if you dont want your sensors i'd be intrested in them
