Dodge Ram Spedometer Sensor Location

were is the spedometor sensor located on our trucks?
rear differential right?

i just tore apart my transfer case and i could swear my speedo gear was in the transfer case

i was also thinking the transfer case? but i know fords read from the rear axle. they have a electronic plug in the top of the pumpkin. so does my dodge. so im assuming thats it?

yea rear diff top its a 5/8 just checked mine the other day but havent replaced it yet cause its 50 bucks and i can wait a week or two for it cause i just spent all my money on the easter dunes trip..

My 94's was in tail shaft of the transfer case , the auto's were in the rear

i just did my nv4500 swap and the speedo senser on my truck was def in the tail housing of the transfer case

because im putting a torqushift automatic in my truck. i was hoping the speedo sensor was in the rear differential. if it is in the tail shaft? how much i make my spedometer work with the ford transfer case?
