This came in the Timing cover gasket kit from O'Reillys' wondering where these other 2 pieces go.

one should be a crand seal, one might be the oil fill seal

I have already put the new crank seal in. In the pic, does the top left rubber seal go in the oil fill? The top right is all metal.

Mine dosn't have the black circle just the tin peice the seal and that plastic sleeve that is in the seal. I think the tin part goes on the outside closest to the balencer?????

the tin thing is the installation tool for the seal

I was hoping the metal piece was for installation, cause thats what I used it for!! Still not sure on the black rubber piece.

Do you leave the seal flush with the front of the cover, or put it in as far as the installation piece will let you? about 1/4 inch?
