I need more acceleration or something its just way to slow like its not getting enough fuel, so should i tighten the smoke screw and just take the fuel plate out shoot me some things so i get an idea thanks guys

 

WHATS ALL DONE TO YOUR TRUCK? TURN THE STAR WHEEL, ALL THE SMOKE SCREW REALLY DOES PRETTY MUCH IS MAKE SMOKE TURNING THE STAR WHEEL WILL MAKE IT FUEL UP FASTER.

 

put a tc lock switch in.

 

What would a tc switch do for me if i need more acceleration

 

it locks up the tc so its more like a stick. it takes like 3 seconds of the quarter mile time and a gov spring kit would be good to it makes it fuel longer

 

I feel ya man these 12v's are SLOOOOOW stock. But with some easy and cheap mods they are supposedly a blast!

 

take your fuel plate out and grind it, or just take it out, I ground mine and it makes just as much power as #100 plate, Play with the star wheel untill you find the sweet spot, and put in a lock up switch. That will wake the ol girl up alot. Be careful with a lock up switch and a stock converter though. The stock converter is about 20 degrees south of par once you start adding power
