The 2008 F350 CCdually that they have has a picture of the rear seat and something on the floor in the picture.. what is that? is wont let me direct link the pic..

Just looks like the steel tray the crew cabs all have, just unfolded. Usually you unfold that and put the seats up so you have storage but dont have to put junk on your carpet.

i think its part of the steel floor that folds out when you fold the seat bottoms up o you hav a large flat floor. my dads 05 F-250 cc has the same thing. that ones just not folded up

Can you take this part out if you dont want it? I would like to store stuff under the seat
but cannot because of this huge metal floor that folds under the seat.

 

I think my 2010 has what you r talking about and the only use for it is when the seat is up you can un fold it and lay larger objects flat like a ice chest or rubermaid tub or something like that
