Default Help! megacab longbed conversion

I just bought my first diesel. 06 mega cab 4x4. I want to do the long bed conversion but don't want to drive to Utah to have it done. I called the guy who said he could ship me the kit. Anybody in SoCal that has done this or knows of a place to purchase the conversion kit locally? If you bought it from Utah where did you have the work done? Did you do it yourseld or did you have it done?

I read the thread started by Seabee. I tried to contact you, but it the website said I can't until I post 10 times. If your able I would love to talk to you about it.

yeah. I read that thread. I was hoping "seabee" could let me know if he bought his in SoCal locally or if he bought from the guys in Utah or Texas. From reading that thread it sounds like he has been installing these for a few other people.

This seems to be pretty popular. There are several running around here in our little town.

I haven't seen one in person yet but it looks nice in the pics. Makes the truck actually a little more useful someone who uses their truck for work that likes the big cab but not the short bed...especially if you don't want to take your trailer out for something that's only 7-8 feet long or whatever. Also i'm assuming you can upgrade to the full size fuel tank after it too
