the front tank might have a broken off pickup in it.

and AZ is right, 16 or 19 gallon front, 18 rear unless somone swaped tanks with a bronco or f superduty. it might have a 33 or 38 gallon tank then.

ok the truck has been in my family since new so i know the tanks have not been swapped. the broken pick up makes sense to me on the front tank except that i put 13 gallons in it ran it until it ran out on me got under and tapped on it and damned if it didnt sound empty even though it still showed a quarter left. 18 sounds big for the rear by lookin at it where its mounted but what do i know gonna run it down and fill it see what it holds. if anyone has any more input on the front id appreciate it if not then thanks for the info guys.

mine has a 12 in the rear and an 18 up front, if you measure the tanks and go to an auto parts store they will tell you by measurements mwhat size your tanks are

I have the CHILTON repair manual for pick-ups and broncos here and it says front tank long wheel base diesel 20.0-22.0 gals (varies with model) and for the rear 18.2. I have a 90 crew cab F350 4x4 with dual tanks. The most I've put in the front is 18.5 and the rear 15.5. Both tanks were on E according to the gauge.

My front seems to run out at 12 or 13. Rear looks similar. How could I look it up?
