Is the egr right behind the cast iron 90 degree air intake on the aluminum manifold.

On my truck there is around solenoid mounted there with wires attached?

When i bought the truck the person told me there was an egr delete / upgrade kit installed.

im assuming you are meaing the egr valve?? yes it is located by the intake elbow.
youre truck may have an egr delete, however some kits can still allow you to put the egr valve back in the intake for the "DUMMY" appearance it just doesnt do anything.. ive been doing a lot of research trying to figure out which kit to go with and i think im gonna get the GOGO delete kit from doug. i really was sold on how he routes the coolant straight to the bottle and not through the intake and back to the bottle like the rest of the kits..

You can't go wrong with the gogo kit, doug is very smart when it comes the 6 leakers. Good luck with it and keep us posted on how it went

I think you can do it either way, but you're going to have to put a deposit down. He's on powerstrokenation a lot. Check out over there maybe.

I had the white smoke for miles too, but it was my headgaskets.
