alright i found a 95 ext cab 4x4 lond bed. automatic. it has guages and stacks. (i dont know too much, the seller doesnt answer emails very fast) is there anything i can look for to see if the trans is basd or can i only tell by test driving. any help on this would be great

 

u can smell the trans fluid and see if it smells burnt or test driving it. good luck with the future purchase

 

if it is black the tranny is toast

 

also ask him when the fluid was changed.... some people change the fluid so that people that do that get thrown off...... its going to need a trans anyway if you go over 100hp over stock..... my 47rh just didnt like the power and i know that most dont anyway
