im posting for a friend. he has a 06 6.0 auto. hes got tranny work. just blew his head gaskets.
his questions are.
what does he need to make that moter bullet proof?
he has afe intake edge juice with additude and 4 inch straite pipe.
i was thinking EGRdelete studs and an oil cooler? i know theres alot more like bigger oil pump. im not to sure on the 6.0 but isnt the injection pump drivin off oil pressure??

Head stud, egr delete kit, and an airdog or fass fuel system will help save the life of his injectors...

Sounds like you're on the right track. One other suggestion is to lose the edge and go with SCT with custom tunes.

Ditch the Edge. The truck drives so much better on custom tunes.
