Smile Speedo Off

I've got a 01 LB7 with 35" tires... My speedometer is off by about 7 mph at 80ish... BUT it's not reading low like normal (due to big tires)...it's actually reading 7 mph over even with oversized tires... Speedo at 80, i'm actually doing 73 per GPS... There has never been a tuner on this truck till i bought it... I'm using Superchips flashpaq and it was off before and after the tuner... any thoughts/comments???

iirc think the 01's are iffy about top speed limiter and tire recalibration with just a handheld tuner. i know my speed limiter was never taken off with the quad i used to have, but i do believe the tires were calibrated.

have u used the superchips to recalibrate your sensors?

I really need to spend some time with my tuner and preview it's options, but NO i have not set any tire size or rev limiters yet... I do believe it comes with the options tho... I didn't know if the problem was something other than the computer... Older vehicles had the cable system that went from the tranny to the speedo... I assumed this was still common in vehicles... It also makes me think, maybe my miles are reading more than "actual"...
