how much torque can a stock 5-speed tranny/clutch in a 96 7.3 handle? lookin into chips intakes and exhausts. figured it would be a good i dea to check it out before makin the investment.

 

right now i have a wildman chip and AD injectors and it still holding fine. i have beat the hell out of mine for 70,000 miles now and not one problem. it all depends on how you drive it. mine isnt completly stock it is a stock single disk replacement.

 

how is that Wildman chip... i was talked into a TS 6 pos.

 

i really like the wildman, mine is on a 6pos chip. it was a huge improvement over the evo i had before.

 

Well, at least you dont have an auto tranny, not as expensive to upgrade since u got a 5 speed...
