Installed a airdog
OK so I got it installed today and had a few things happen you all need to know!!
First off I dropped the tank to put the draw straw in and snapped off both fittings! They are plastic and crap! Just so you know Disconnect them before you drop it all the way! Instead of drilling a hole in your tank drill a hole in the original basket and gut it except for the fuel level guage! If you break off the pin inside the connector you don't have to cut the harness!
When I pulled the fuel pump basket out I was shocked at the amount of crap stuck to the screens!! So if you have over 100k it wouldn't hurt to drop the tank and examine the screens! I plugged the return on the basket because it was plastic and unrepairable. I ran the return to the fuel fill vent line and put a tee in to drain the return back to the tank the easiest way! "Good info if you break yours!" The 1/2 fuel lines are huge!! All the way to the filter. Secure them well! Finding a ignition "on" fuse was a pain there are no "EMPTY" slots as stated in the directions! Just put a fuse tap in with an existing fuse and your good to go!
OK that's it pretty straight forward install The Arson kit for the CP-3 was a 10 minute install!
20 psi now with no drop even floored! Spins the tires really easy now Hmmm not sure if this post goes here but the monitor police will make the sticky or move it!
