does anybody know if the cat 3126 have any power for towing?

 

welcome to diesel bombers and i will get back to you on that if somebody on here dont beat me to it and what kind of towing are you talking about anyway

 

engine makes 300 horse, give or take 30 depending on which model you get, which i'm assuming is around 700 or 800 ft-lbs of torque depending on the type of transmission, i'm assuming it'll be a manual but i have no idea, and the answer to that question is yes it should pull just fine

 

nope, a friend has one in a Chevy 6500 wrecker that weighs 18k empty and it cant get out of its own way, my cabover with a 4 cyl with a trailer will outrun his truck

 

well a couple of our trucks at work, coca-cola, haul upwards of 50k lbs and don't seem to struggle, they're no power house but they work for what we use em for

 

thats what all of are trucks use here to haul 80k+ there not fast but get the job done slow on hills more like crawl up it
