I'm new to diesels and would like to know what I can do to make it faster, louder, and more fuel efficient. Also, please mention prices of parts needed. And if there is a part of the website specifically for idi turbo diesels please point me in the direction. Thanks

Is your IDI a factory turbo truck or does it have an aftermarket turbo? The factory turbo setup uses a smaller turbo outlet housing and a flat restrictive down pipe. You would want to find an aftermarket(ATS most likely) outlet housing and down pipe. Hypermax makes a pretty sweet cowl induction kit as well. If you get some guages, then you can turn up the fuel and maybe the boost pressure.

 

Its a factory turbo. ALso, Where is the best place to locate the parts from ats or hypermax. I'm having a hard time finding them.
