Question How hard to change gasket/o ring on oil cooler tube?

Here's a weird one
I have a 1990 7.3 IDI with a stock first generation ATS 'factory turbo'
I have replaced the garret turbo cartridge - it does help performance
I have an oil leak in what Ford calls the 'oil cooler'
which is a tube coming forward on the drivers side
from the oil filter assembly to the front of the engine
From what I can tell there is an 'o-ring' or gasket that seals
the tube where it enters the front engine casting?
At start up I am losing about a half a quart of oil
Is this o-ring or gasket able to be accessed & replaced
without pulling the engine?

Thanks,

Jim

yes its a orange colored high temp o rings on each end. You can change it by jacking up the motor a little on the driver side after un bolting the motor mount. It cools the oil by running water through the oil cooler to. So when you unbolt it your going to have water run out of the motor also.
