been having a problem starting my truck lately ,have a bad draw on the batteries so today while it was in the shop getting some other things done to it I put the charger on it(10 amp charge) and after about 10 min. I walked around the front of the truck and the smoke was rollin out of the adr box.,it got hot enough to melt the side of the box,so it is now removed copletely and I have sent them a email to see what to do next,I hope we can get this fixed soon ,the truck has no power without the boxbiggest problem I have now is trying to find my receipt for the thing

 

They had a problem like this on a few tunes.

 

I have been running this tune for almost a yr now with great success and performance was awesome , no surge

 

which tune were you running?

 

don't remember which tune it was have the pulse so I customized it to meet my needs of power and a little smoke for a daily driver

 

some of the earlier tunes did this to some boxes. This is why Quad replaced them on his site.

 

my tunes come from quads site but it has been a long time since I changed tunes, when I got the pulse from you was the last time I loaded a tune into it and that was shortly after they come out and I need it back because a stock truck sucks

just be glad you where around to unhook it, it really would have sucked to come home to a smoked truck! ive been reading alot today on here and there was been alot of talk about truck fires and run away trucks, scares me

 

the fire would not of bothered me to bad if it would of been outside of the shop it is insured and worth more burnt then for me to sell it

 

got a call from Quad and a new box is on the way,said it was the tune the box had in it,don't know which tune it had,they checked my harness and everything else is fine ,had them set it up for a fp sending unit,going to cost me a little bit of money but I was treated very well on this from Quad
