ok a buddy of mine is wanting to do a p-pump swap and i am graced with the job. i got all the parts (a 12v donor engine). i know i gotta get injection lines and stuff, but what do i use for injectors? i was thinking about using stock injectors and putting lower pressure springs but we want a pretty good amount of fuel as this truck will be a drag/pulling truck.

Also any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated. we are doing this swap on an 01 engine, not in an 01 truck

Seems to clear up some things. i have heard that getting the timing set is the hardest part. i am also wondering what size injectors would be good for around 800hp. the p-pump is a 160 pump with lcdv's, 4kgsk, i am gonna run .120 lines with .093 connector tubes. i am wondering if i use stock 24v injectors for now if it will be ok or not. i will be running a single turbo until i get money to buy twins. i am studding the head and putting a .020" over head gasket in so i can run twins and advanced timing.
