Alright fella's,I got a 04 cummins 6spd and i want to manulally put it into high idle. It automatically goes into high idle when the temp outside is in the low 30's. Does anyone know how to do this?

 

You need to research this because you are describing 2 different features. All the trucks will idle a lil higher when its cold enough but you want the PTO/high idle enabled. This one lets you decide when and how high it revs.

 

If your talking about the high idle useing your cruise control do a search on DTR for manual high idle. I did it on my 06 manual and it works great

You need to ground out pin #21 on the ECM if you have a manual and then get the dealer to enable it in your computer. Here is the thread with the info more detailed.
