Im looking for brighter head lights. are there any brighter bulbs I can put in? I am looking for a way to do this with out spending my life savings

If you look around you can get a set of HIDs for a fairly descent price.

 

i will check on that. my 08 needs more light too or younger eyes.

You guys should drive an old 12V - a flashlight taped to each fender would give you better light than the headlights.

 

Spend 125 bucks for a pair of IPF 868s. Put the switch within easy reach, and use them instead of your high beams. They are also DOT legal here for driving lights if mounted at the proper height. Bulbs are inexpensive and easy to replace. I do a lot of driving at night, and out here, deer and hogs outnumber trucks and cars on the road at night. The lights have saved my butt several times

 

Anybody know of any good HID's for a 2008 Ram 2500 as main headlights.

 

I'm with Dr.Evil. I put in a separate harness for my 97 and it improved the light some, then I drive my 08 and its way better. I don't know what you guys compare your lights to, but the 08's are way better than my buddies GM..
