Default fuel pressure

Im looking at getting a fuel pressure gauge for my truck but my question is does anyone know what the fuel pressure is for the line going to the fuel filter? any input would be great

Fuel pressure or rail pressure?? FPLS (fuel pressure low side) isn't as important as the FPHS (fuel pressure high side) or commonly called rail pressure on common rail diesels.

new it will be 8 to 10 psi. It will lower after a while to @ 5 to 8 psi. There is a bypass spring in the pump that weakens after a little while. If you put the guage on AFTER your filter, it will lower when the filter gets dirty.

its the fuel line comming from the tank to the fuel filter i couldnt find a fuel rail pressure gauge the fuel pressure gauge i ordered now goes up to 100 psi if that will help you?
