Default Ordered 2010!

Well, technically anyways. Buddy of mine at a dealer said they can't get any 2010's for a while unless they are pre sold orders, so we ordered one for me as a "pre sold" so they could at least get one on the lot. He probably knows I'll want to buy it anyways.

Crew cab long bed 4x4 Laramie in Inferno red. Automatic and diesel. I was impressed with some of the new features standard on the laramies like memory seats and mirrors, and now a heated steering wheel.

They're the same as the new half tons that have been out for a while. I think they are nice, but one guy will say they are luxurious while the next guy will say they are crap you know? I want to replace my work truck this summer and will be looking at either another duramax, the new Dodge, or possibly an F-150 depending on what my role in the company is at that point.

It will take me at least 6 years or more to warm up to the new front end design on the 2010. The only one that looks ominous is the megacab dually. I wouldn't hesitate with getting that one, but I would have to justify owning a 1 ton. I had the same feeling when I bought my 2002...I didn't care for the change, so I hurriedly bought a 2002 on the showroom floor. It took me this long to actually like the new body and front end style.

When I do get one, the front will look identical to my 08. I want to see the crew cab long beds in person a little more, they look a little weird to me for some reason right now. The dually's look pretty cool, but I'd really like to stay with a single rear wheel for playing around in the mountains.

we have a couple of them sitting on the lot here in town for sale and i'm not to sure about em yet. they look nice on the inside with more storage space and such and the interior looked different to me then in the 1/2 tons. but anyways they look kinda like a toyota from the front and the hood looks like the d-maxs with the slots in em. but you'll have to posts some pics when you get it

Skinnysfd;

Your old truck looks almost exactly like my new one. How long you been with the Fire Department?
