Default Edge not the best?

Well im starting to hear some things about Edge and about how most Tuners change three things,Timing,Fuel and somthing else. Just cant remember the third. And with Edge im hearing that it only changes the Timing, thus why everyone complains of no smoke Because nothing fuel related is changed.

I gues I should of done somemore research before I bought it.

Is this true?

no edge juice definately adds fuel and timing, duramax's are little more difficult to get to smoke becasue of the turbos on them, I think. Some chevy guy will come on and tell me im wrong but i do know the edge adds fuel.

For the Dmax's the best thing for tuning is EFI live, its confusing as all hell but its the most complete tuner for the trucks

The edge is a good tuner by itself for just the average guy who wants a little more power, as long as many other tuners. I could go on naming them all but the all are good.

If by not the best u mean it does not blow its competition out the water, then no it really does not do that because the sport is getting tougher and tougher to stay competetive in, and more advanced tuning is needed and thats why alot of people make the move to EFI live and ppe.
