Default 6 inch 37s

I have a 05 Ford F-250 fx4 6.0L. I would like to do a 6inch and run 37's. Is it possible to do with out cutting fenders? Which brand do you guys like? I want to do some light off-roading. I would like to keep blocks in the rear so I can still tow and haul stuff. I was told that if I were to do a 6inch and 37s I would need to put a new transmission in it. My transmission shifts like new. So is that true or false? Thanks in advance. Sorry for all the questions

That info is not correct.. You will not need a new trans. What they could have been reffering to is the need to change your gearing in the actual axle's not in the trans. As for the rear blocks, If you are planning on doing alot of towing it is actually better to get the full lift springs instead of the blocks. It will be much more stable this way and prevent axle rap and things like that. Now a 6 inch lift with your truck should clear them 37's nicely.

cool thanks nelkcots. I don't do a lot of heavy towing. I have a landscaping business I have to tow at the most two 0turns. and I haul mulch thats it.

There are a lot of good products out there lift wise. Skyjacker, ProComp, Fabtech, Rancho, are all lifts I have heard good things about. There are more of course and I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction that will fit your needs.
