Default cummins before strokin ???

I was thinking how we got here when most americans dislike ,scared of or dont know of the true superoity of the diesel powerplant.I personaly never would have thaught of diesel if I had not tagged along with my bud to go truck buying. His two must haves were 4x4 and diesel and after one test drive I was addicted to the whistle of that dodge for life and one year later when it was my turn to buy a drive in the new gasser just not cut it any longerand upgraded to the 94 3500 dodge.Afue years later at time to trade in changed back to ford (my fav at time)and took the gasser on the lot thinking no big deal whats the diff.after less than 2-3 weeks of buying gas again and taking my boat to NH my new HEAVY DUTY truck was down shifting 2 gears when my dodge would just whistel a little more no shifting or strain at all I got home that weekend and went powerstroke (took a bad beating trading in a 2 month old truck) but was well worth it.So would any of you guys and gals go back to gas and what made you go dirsel in the first place.Ill tell you its not worth the 8-10k savings on the sticker. diesel for life

NO NO Definatly not the extra sticker price is not worth it imo. power when you need it, fun to drive, fun to tweak mo power bwa ha ha. I think once you drive them diesel runs though your veins no more gas powered vehicles for me my better 1/2 is going to be due for a new vehicle in about a year going to go from a grand cherokee to another cummins pref 2nd gen 01-02 or 3rd gen 5.9 . So yep me too DFL (Diesel for life)

I had to go from a 93 CTD back to a gas *** due to circumstances out of my control,( now called an ex wife!), I have no plans on ever owning another gasoline powered auto and definetly NEVEr a gas truck in my life.
DFL baby!

My next personal work truck will probably be a gasser, but I'll always have a few diesels for when something needs pulled. As my business grows, I find myself driving around in an empty truck most of the time and my guys driving overloaded gassers, so it's about time to give them the real trucks and for me to get into more of a boss man's truck. Ford F150 looks attractive right now and would handle my day to day stuff no problem. Have to keep the Dodge for camping though.
