Default Turbo question?

Hey guys I have got a buddy that has an 02 24v 5.9L. He asked if there would be any benifit in upgrading the internal wheels in the turbo. I really not could answer him. Would he be better off changing the wastegate or going with a boost elbow? Any info is appreciated.

sure but along with those wheels also come new housings ect. in my oppinion is to save up and get the turbo that u plan on making power with as for the wastegate the cheapest route is a boost elbow
