Default opinions...

which is a better motor? the 12v 2nd gen cummins or the 24v 2nd gen cummins?

Depends on what you want to do with it. If your lookin for a toy to make insane HP on the drag strip or truck pulls then the 12V is the answer to your prayers.

If your lookin for a daily driver that you want to play with then it's the 24V with it's adjustable HP levels.

Same motor, different fuel systems...that's the simple answer to your question, and Uncle Bubba is definitely correct in what you plan on doing with it.

I say 12v. Although you cant chip em, you can still make em beast as hell, and i think they sound better with intake and exhaust vs the 24.

If i had the money and the time i would stick with the 12v anyday, crazy powerhouse numbers. but other then that, i would stick with 24v blow some smoke here and there and pull whatever i need of a touch of a button.
