Hey guys im looking to trade in my powerjoke for another truck I am stuck between the new LMM duramax and a new 6.7 cummins. Can you help? What is the best tuner for the 6.7 does it throw codes when you do an egr and dpf delete. Any other info on what to watch for on these trucks would be great. I would be going after a manual megacab.

You won't find a LMM with a manual, so looks like Dodge is your best bet.

depends on what you want a truck for. If you like high tech gizmoes and don't plan on doing anything to your truck then go with the dirty max. If you got the diesel bug like we all do then...well a daggum cummins!

 

I'm not brand bashing but as far as power My manual 6.7 with a smarty and a clutch just blew the doors off my buddys 6.6 with a PPE and alot of other high dollar upgrades.

 

Personal preference is all it comes down to. For a DD I love my duramax and it runs way better then my Cummins ever did for the $300 I have in aftermarket stuff on it. Either one is nice. My Cummins with Juice Runs with my Buddies CR with the crazy larry tune on it. Both stock trucks my trans just likes me better then his likes him. If your after a manual well GM is out because they are stupid and discontinued it in 06.
