decal, removal and installation
here is my first try at a diy. my first topic, removing a decal and installin a DOF one. sorry bout it not being a db one, but all my db ones are on the truck
here is the one being removed

then u take a razor blade, and slide it under the bottom edge of the decal, a slight angle

next u take the new decal, and peel the backin paper off, making sure u dont take the deal off with the backing paper/

now to stick the decal on.
first spray a light coat of soapy

next, put the decal up to the window, it dont have to be pefectly straight at first, cause usingsoapy water, u can adjust it.

then u can take the edge of a credit card, and squiggy all the soapy water out from behind the decal, and there are no bubbles in the decal.

finaly, wait 30 minutes or so, for it to dry real good, sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, depending on the temp. then u take the edge of the front piece of paper, and slowly pull it off, pressing it back against it self, going slowly, making sure it dont try to peel up

then u can just stand back and look at it

also, use windex or water in a spray bottle cause it'll help let the glue slide off the glass and razor better. or buy some solvent for tar removal and glue removal. for tar on rims, use wax and compound with a detailing sponge. comes right out.
