Lift Options
I have been searching for a lift for my 01 2500 QuadCab 4X4, 4wheelparts only seems to have leveling kits and overpriced kits. Does anyone know were I can get a 4.5-6" kit that also levels the front? I have to buy shocks and I will probably just make my own drop for the driveshaft carrier. I also looked at susspension connection, does anone have experience withthem or any particular brand? I'm open to anything.
Thanks

Dont get a fabtech. Ive had nothin with problems from mine. I was expecting alot better quality from one of the supposed higher quality manufactures. I was gonna buy the cheaper rough country, but was told it was a budget lift. i got the fabtech installed for what i would have paid to get the cheaper lift shipped to me anyway, all had to do was a little advertising for the new shop that installed it and talked me into fabtech.
For the price of fabtec i'm surprised. Thanks for the heads up, I'm going to check out that link dieseldoctor, Thanks!
I'm just so used to having a big truck that when I drive the dodge it feels small so I wanna get it in the sky now

I'm looking at the 4,5" TuffCountry lift from TopGuns site now and it doesnt come with front coils just BIG spacers to lift the front. Do you think if I order 6" front coils it'll be level? without the factory rake? I'd rather get new front coils and level the truck out.
Also the lift needs to know if I have overload springs in the rear, what are those? Factory add-a-leafs? I have no idea.

yes overload springs would be factory "helper springs". Being diesel the 6" spring would probably still give you a little bit of rake, however you could always use a 1-2" leveling puck to get it totaly level.
well on the site they say there specific 6" diesel springs. I'm pretty sure I have the factory helper springs so now I have to figure a new lift out unless I just get rear blocks/leafs added and get some 6" coils up front and see if I can find the controll arms and longer swaybar links seperate.
I made my controll arms for my jeep but I dont have enough time anymore sadly.
