ok this mite be a really stupid question but i need to know. i was messin around on you tube and found a lot of videos of 24 valve cummins loping at idle. how do i do this to mine. i saw a guy with a duramax and his chip has a lope setting are there any chips for my truck that will cause the lope effect. my truck is a 99 24 valve cummins with a small bully dog programmer.

 

Uhh, no. You can get big injectors, lines, tubes and a monster pump if you want lope. Makes the truck almost undrivable on the street.

 

no programmer will cause a lope on a 24 valve. bigger cross over lines and tubes will give u a lil bit of a lope, put a monter pump on it with the big lines and it will realy lope a lope dont realy do anything besides sound.

 

thats what i heard but i cant find prices or anything on a monster or even where to buy one. i fell in love with the sound and decided i need my truck to do that too. i got another truck so im not so much worried bout the bein streetable thing as long as im streetable enough to shut up some dirty-maxes and power-jokes every now and then

 

when he says undriveable he means erratic power and its hard to control it with smooth power delivery and with a automatic that is pretty hard to control and drive on the street at the sametime unless your running stoplight to stoplight at full power.

 

a cheap way to make her lope is just swap in some.120 transfer tubes and she'll lope and still be very streetable. call up industrial injection and ask for some 120 transfer tubes and if she dont lope enough for u then get bigger transfer lines as well and shell really lope and if thats not enought that call up mike at m and j tool and fab and order a monster pump (419) 237 1521 is mikes number hope u find waat ur lookin for
